Dr. Matthew Budoff is a Professor of Medicine and the Director of Cardiac CT at The Lundquist Institute. A leading authority in noninvasive cardiovascular imaging, he has led landmark trials — including MESA, CREDENCE, and PROMISE — and authored over 900 peer-reviewed publications. He created and directs the Cardiac CT Course that CCTCore was built to accompany.

Ruben Mora, MD is a physician and cardiovascular imaging researcher focused on cardiac CT, coronary plaque characterization, and the integration of artificial intelligence into cardiovascular risk assessment. He built and maintains CCTCore — the wiki, image atlas, calculators, and report templates — as a reference companion to the Cardiac CT training course.
